Govt. and TNA schedule third round of talks

The government discussed issued surrounding high security zones, constitutional amendments and the release of Tamil political detainees at the second round of discussion held with the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) today (February 3), TNA MP M.A. Sumanthiran told Ada Derana.

 

The government answered some of the questions raised by the TNA at the first round of discussions while Mr. Sumanthiran said that a third round of discussions between the two parties has been scheduled for the first week of March.
