We should not hesitate to face the challenges against economic development. We are facing those challenges, says President Mahinda Rajapaksa while addressing the nation during the 63rd Independence Day celebrations at Kataragama.

He further said that it was pointless taking popular decisions and putting the future generation in jeopardy. This is a time to take even unpopular decisions for the sake of making the future brighter.
