Navy deploys 20 teams for flood-victim rescue

The Navy has deployed 20 lifeguard teams to rescue flood victims in Media Spokesman for the Navy Commander Kosala Warnakulasuriya stated. The teams will be deployed in Batticaloa, Trincomalee, Thoppur, Mahakanadarawa, Medawachchiya, Pulmudai and Kebithigollewa.

 

The lifeguard teams are also ready to be deployed in any area if the need arises.
