Two LTTE suspects nabbed at Hettiweediya

Two suspects linked to LTTE activities have been arrested by the Colombo Crime Division in the Hettiweediya area. Gold jewelry, foreign currency and close to Rs.200, 000 in cash were also discovered in the possession of the suspects.
Police suspect that the valuables and money had been collected as ransom by kidnapping wealthy individuals.
While the suspects are scheduled to be presented before the Colombo Magistrate’s Court the Colombo Crime Division is conducting extensive investigations on the duo.
