JVP to hold protest fast on Feb 08 for Fonseka

The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna says that they will organize an immense protest fast on February 08 in front of the Welikada Prison to commemorate the nearing of one year since the imprisonment of former Army Chief Sarath Fonseka.


Everybody putting aside party differences should join the protest fast, which being held by the initiation of the ‘People’s Movement for Democracy’, JVP Properganda Secretary Vijitha Herath pointed out. 


Speking during a press briefing today (February 06) he said that decisions have to be taken separately whither struggles against various issues should be carried out jointly or separately.
