Badulla and Nuwara-Eliya on landslide alert

Landslide warnings have been issued to certain areas in the Badulla and Nuwara-Eliya Districts in view of the possibility of rain within the next 24 hours, the National Building Research Organization (NBRO) claimed.

 

Nine areas in Badulla and five areas in Nuwara-Eliya have been cautioned for the possibility of landslides while the NBRO has also stated that certain roads in these areas may be vulnerable to landslides as well.
