Arrested Indian Fishermen have apologized - Douglas

Minister of Traditional Industries and Small Enterprises, Douglas Devananda who visited the Indian Fishermen who were arrested by Sri Lankan police last evening, said that the fishermen have accepted their mistake and asked for a pardon for straying deep into Sri Lankan waters.

 

The fishermen had apologized for their mistake and had requested the authorities to facilitate their release while Minister Devananda stated that India is out neighbour and all measures should be taken to protect the fishermen.
