Complaint on vehicles use for election propaganda

Information have been received that vehicles belonging to provincial transport authorities are being used for election propaganda work, says President of the Private Bus Operators Association Gemunu Wijeratne.


He stated that a written complaint will be handed over to the Election Commissioner today (February 19) regarding the issue.


Certain individuals use the bus industry this way for their personal political motives almost during every election, Gemunu Wijeratne emphasized.
