Two killed in shooting at Elpitiya

Two people have died following a shooting that occurred in the Elpitiya, Athkadura area around midday today (February 20). The gunmen had arrived on a motorbike and opened fire on the victims, who had been traveling on a three-wheeler, SSP Sisira Kumara told Ada Derana.
One of the victims had died on the spot following the shooting while the other had passed away on the way to the Elpitiya Hospital.
