The Students of the Sri Lanka Sabaragamuwa University have gone on protest after 58 students were banned from their classes in relation to accusations hurled against them regarding ragging junior students, the Students Union stated in a release.

They claimed that these measures have been taken against the students who raise their voice against the problems within the University. The Union claimed that the students will abstain from attending lectures until this decision has been reversed.
