16 Sri Lankan fishermen released by Indian authorities

Sixteen Sri Lankan fishermen were released by Indian authorities today (February 23) and were handed over the to Sri Lankan Navy off the coast of Mannar, Navy Spokesman Kosala Warnakulasuriya said.
The group of fishermen were arrested by Indian authorities in November, last year and were released today at around 3.30 p.m. along with three of their vessels.
