Kenya contribute 46 extras for Pakistan cause

Pakistan scored a strong 317 for 7 against Kenya in their Group A encounter at the Hambantota Stadium. Four separate Pakistani Batsmen scored half centuries with Umar Akmal top scoring with 71 off just 52 balls.

 

Kamran Akmal and Younis Khan scored 55 and 50 runs each while Misbah Ul-haq added 65 to the total. Kenya also gave away 46 extras with a record equalising 37 wides while Thomas Odoyo was the pick of the bowlers, picking up 3 wickets for 41 runs off 7 overs.
