South Africa cruise past West Indies total

South Africa beat West Indies by seven wickets in their first Group B encounter in the World Cup played at Delhi a short while ago. West Indies posted a meagre total of 222 after they lost all their wickets by the 48th over while South Africa got there with seven wickets and 43 balls to spare.
South Africa won the toss and elected to field and West Indies never looked comfortable with Imran Tahir picking up four wickets and Dale Steyn picked up three. Johan Botha also contributed with two wickets. Darren Bravo scored a patient 73 while Dwayne Bravo scored 40 runs to take West Indies to 222.
South Africa got to the total comfortably with AB de Villiers, who was declared the man of the match, scoring 107 off just 105 while Captain Graemme Smith got 45.
