Nugegoda-Hettiawatte buses on strike

Bus operators of the 176 bus route from Nugegoda to Hettiawatte have gone on strike after a bus was attacked and its driver threatened with a firearm by an unknown group last night (February 25). The bus operators have stated that they will not stop the protest until the culprits are in custody.
They further stated that despite making a complaint to the Mirihana Police, no response has been given yet.
