TNA to invite PLOTE for discussions with govt.

The Tamil National Alliance (TNA) has decided to extend an invitation to the People’s Liberation Organisation of Tamil Eelam (PLOTE) to join discussions with the government.
The TNA is scheduled to hold discussions with the government on March 01, they will discuss several issues concerning the North and East provinces.
While this is the first instance that PLOTE has been invited for these discussions, the TNA has also decided to request the Eelam People’s Democratic Party (EPDP) to also join in the talks.
The Tamil National Alliance expressed intensions to extensively discuss with the government issues such as the resettlement of people in the North, public who have lost their lands, troubles faced by fishermen in Jaffna.
