JVP, SLFP clash leaves 5 hospitalized

A clash is reported to have occurred in Weerawila between a group of JVP candidates and a group of SLFP candidates and their supports. Five persons have been admitted to the Debarawewa Hospital following the incident, the Tissamaharama Police said.


Tissamaharama Police have begun an extensive investigation on the clash, which took place around 8am today (February 26), the police revealed.
