England and India play out dramatic tie

England and India played out a spectacular tie in Bangalore after India posted 338 in the first innings. The match went down to the final ball where England managed to tie the game with two wickets in hand after looking certain for defeat.
Sachin Tendulkar scored a brilliant 120 for the Indians while Gautam Gambhir and Yuvraj Singh both added half centuries to help India to a total of 338. Tim Bresnan was the pick of the English bowlers picking up five wickets for 48 runs off his 10 overs.
England replied well with Captain Andrew Strauss leading the line with a brilliant 158 runs off just 145 balls while Ian Bell added 69. Zaheer Khan got three wickets bowling a fine spell at the death restricting England during their final powerplay.
Strauss was named the man of the match for his Captain’s knock.
