36 Lankans return from Libya

Thirty six Sri Lankans employed in Libya who were evacuated due to the prevailing political turmoil in Libya have already returned to Sri Lanka, says the Bureau of Foreign Employment.
It said that nine of them had arrived yesterday (February 27) while the rest had arrived in the country today morning. The airline tickets to fly them back had been provided by the Bureau.
The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment further stated that the Lankans that arrived in the island are in good health and that necessary steps have been taken to bring back the remainder of Sri Lankans stranded in Libya.
