President visits Kfir crash site

President Mahinda Rajapaksa has visited the crash site of the two Kfir fighter jets in Warana a short while ago, President’s media confirmed.
Meanwhile the Sri Lanka Air Force has deployed helicopters in order to transport the injured from area of the the collision of the two combat aircrafts.
Air Force spokesman Group Captain Andy Wijesuriya said that information regarding civilian casualties have not been reported yet.
However, a spokesperson from the Wathupitiwala Hospital told Ada Derana that two ambulance vehicles have been sent to the location. He further expressed that the Gampaha Hospital is on standby for the treatment of any injured persons due to the accident.
