Injuction extended on UNP disciplinary action against SLMC members

March 10, 2011   11:29 am

The Colombo District Court today (March 10) extended the injunction order prohibiting the UNP from taking disciplinary action against eight members of the Sri Lanka Muslim Congress (SLMC) including its Leader, Minister of Justice Rauf Hakeem until March 30.

The petitioners claimed that the UNP has no right to take disciplinary action against the eight members as they are directly part of the SLMC party and not the UNP.
