The Hilton to discuss change of ownership in due course

The Hilton Hotels and Resorts will maintain its normal business operations as usual while it will discuss the change in ownership with the relevant parties in the future, the Hilton announced in a statement made today (March 10).
The statement reads:
Hilton Hotels & Resorts (Hilton) has a management agreement to operate Hilton Colombo on behalf of Hotel Developers (Lanka) PLC, since more than 20 years ago and this management agreement currently remains in place. We have been advised that the Sri Lankan Government has been noted as the new owners of the land and building of the Hotel. In due course Hilton representatives will meet with the relevant parties to discuss the change in ownership and in the meantime, Hilton will continue to maintain normal business operations at the Hotel.
