Ranil urges public to show solidarity to Japan

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickramasinghe urges the people of Sri Lanka to put aside political and religious differences aside and unit to provide relief to the people of Japan who have been affected from the massive earthquake and tsunami the followed.


He states that religious ceremonies such as Bodhi Puja should be held under each Vihara to invoke blessings on Japan’s disaster victims.


The government of Japan has always operated as an ally of Sri Lanka, a release from the UNP leader stated.
