Petrol stations near polling centres open 24hrs on March 17

All petrol stations near polling centres will be kept open for 24 hours on March 17, Petroleum Ministry announced today. In a release it added that the Petroleum Minister Susil Premajayantha had given instruction in keeping with the request made by the Elections Commissioner.



Earlier the Elections Commissioner had requested that petrol stations be kept open on March 17 to facilitate the travel of polling officials.
