VIDEO: Campaigning still taking place in some areas - PAFFREL

Election campaigning is still being carried out in certain areas despite the time period given for such propaganda activity having expired a few days ago, Executive Director of PAFFREL Rohana Hettiarachchi stated today.

Speaking at a press briefing held today, Mr. Hettiarachchi said that complaints regarding Election cutouts still being displayed in several Districts have been reported while small political rallies have even been held in the Matale District. Furthermore, he added that propaganda messages have been disseminated through automated phone call recordings.
