South Africa make 284 in Dhaka

South Africa made 284 runs for the loss of 8 wickets against Bangladesh in their group ‘B’ World Cup encounter at Dhaka a short while ago. Hashim Amla and Graeme Smith got off to a good start posting a 98 run partnership while Jacques Kallis and Faf du Plessis also contributed with half-centuries each.

 

Rubel Hossain picked up three wickets for Bangladesh though South Africa finished their innings confidently to get them to a respectable total.
