Lanka’s WC Quarter Finals opponent to be decided today

March 20, 2011   01:34 pm

The opposing team to Sri Lanka at the ICC World Cup Quarter Finals will be decided on the outcome of the match between India and West Indies today. The probability depends on the outcome of today’s match at M.A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. If India loses today’s match, then they will meet Sri Lanka at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmadabad in India on March 24.

If India wins today they will meet Australia at the Sardar Patel Stadium in Ahmadabad.

If Sri Lanka meets India at the ICC Cricket World Cup matches Quarter Finals, the game will be played in India. However if India loses, Sri Lanka will meet England and most probably the match will be scheduled at Sri Lanka’s R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium in Colombo as the host country, according to sources.
