Railway men resort to trade union action

Train transportation in the Galtonwewa – Nagollagama railway track has come to a standstill as a train, traveling from Anuradhapura to Kurunegala has abruptly stopped in the track blocking the passage, Ada Derana reporter said.


The train is said to have stopped due to not receiving signals from the control room as a result of railway controllers, officers in charge, railway guards have taken to trade union action.
