Another WC first: Two Asian Giants clash at finals

India will meet Sri Lanka in the World Cup final after co-hosts India beat Pakistan in the semi final at Mohali. India 260 for 9 (Tendulkar 85, Riaz 5-46) beat Pakistan 231 (Misbah 56) by 29 runs to reach the ICC World Cup final to be played at the Wankhede Stadium on April 2.
Sri Lanka breezed through to the finals when they beat New Zealand on Tuesday March 29 by 5 wickets (with 13 balls remaining) at the R. Premadasa International Cricket Stadium at Kettarama in Colombo following a tense competition.
The ICC 2011 World Cup final to be played in Mumbai between Sri Lanka and India will be the first in World Cup history where two Asian teams meet in the final.
