The protest staged by the bus operators from Colombo to Kandy will continue today (March 31) as well, President of the Lanka Private Bus Owners Association, Gemunu Wijeyratne told Ada Derana.

The protest began after two conductors operating the Kandy-Colombo route were injured following a clash between the Colombo-Kandy bus operators and the Kegalle-Colombo bus operators. The injured two were admitted to the Kandy Hospital for treatment.

The injured two will also meet with the Transport Commission in order to discuss the issue while Wijeyratne stated that he believed that both parties could come to a quick resolution.
