Honorary title bestowed upon Media Minister

The Asgiriya Maha Vihara Chapter Sangha Sabaha headed by the Maha Nayake Thera has decided to confer the Honorary title ‘Deshamamaka Janaprasadana Lanka Putra’ on Media Minister Keheliya Rambukwella, the Government Information Department stated.
It further stated that the decision has been taken in appreciation of the
services rendered by him as Media Spokesman at a time the Government was
engaged in the eradication of terrorism from the country.
Prime Minister D M Jayaratne and a number of Parliamentarians are due to
participate in the conferring ceremony at the Asgiri Mahavihara on April 03.
