Police nab 8 treasure hunters at Mihintale

Eight individuals have been arrested for excavating in the Walawa Hengunawewa reserve within the Mihintale police division. They had been apprehended while digging for buried treasure at the reserve near an archeological site, police reports say.
The suspects are scheduled to be presented before the Anuradhapura Magistrate’s Court today (April 05).
