Epitom Consulting, a business consultancy firm which is fast becoming an epitome in the Sri Lankan consultancy knowledge world by serving its clients with the best. Founder, Ragulan points out that his business is dedicated to offering unparalleled business consultancy and knowledge related services through an exceptional professional approach which ensures that the clients are successful, competitive and become leaders within their markets.

Following the workshop on “The Power of Positive Mind for Success” which successfully achieved its objectives, Epitom is organizing a workshop and training programme aiming to spice up the presentation skills of Sri Lankans.

Ragulan elaborates that most people have a natural fear and anxiety when it comes to a presentation or addressing a gathering though we are well prepared, equipped and capable. Further he adds that this fear factor is inherent but can be removed by proper training and skill enhancement.

To tune-up and enhance these presentation skills Epitom is organising a one day workshop and training programme targeting all Sri Lankan professionals. The founder assures that this programme would enhance the presentation skills of participants by making them aware of the elements of effective presentations, through various activities which create self realization and skill enhancement. He says that the programme would assist the participants to identify their weaknesses and strengths in making presentations, identify how to effectively deliver individual presentations and to prepare effective slide presentations.

The facilitator, Dr.Arosha S. Adikaram counts over 08 years experience as a lecturer in Human Resource Management at the Faculty of Management and Finance, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. She is also a reputed author, consultant, researcher and a trainer in her field.

Ragulan states that Dr.Arosha S. Adikaram is a matchless facilitator in this particular topic as her contribution to the field of HRM and training has been recognized nationally as well as internationally. She was awarded one of the ‘Ten Outstanding Young Persons – 2010’ (TOYP) for her academic accomplishments by the Junior Chamber International Sri Lanka (JCISL). Furthermore she was also conferred with the ‘Pride of HR Profession’ award in India by World HRD Congress in February 2010, ‘FES/SLF Research Fellowship for Young Researchers’ in 2003, awarded by Sri Lanka Foundation and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung and the ‘Best Paper Award’ for the paper ‘Sexual harassment among women in the banking sector of Sri Lanka’ for the International Conference on Business and Information held in Singapore in 2006. Apart from the awards she is also a renowned author in the field of Human Resources and Training. Her academic span also includes her services in curriculum development and revision activities in a number of post graduate and graduate programs. Arosha is a past member of the Toastmasters, an Associate Member of the Institute of Personnel Management, Sri Lanka, and a member of SLAIHEE (Sri Lanka Association for Improving Higher Education Effectiveness). She is also a SEDA Certified Teacher in Higher Education, United Kingdom and a Certified Teacher in Higher Education, Sri Lanka.

Epitom is confident its programme will achieve its intended objectives while enhancing the presentation skills of the participants which is the most essential skill expected from professionals and which adds priceless value to each individual’s career.
