Fourth round of talks between TNA and govt. completed

In their fourth round of talks the Tamil National Alliance (TNA) and the government decided upon visiting and inspecting the Vavuniya and Omanthai IDP camps on April 16. The two groups met at the Parliament complex yesterday (April 7) to discuss the matter.
Talks between the TNA and the government on a political situation to the ethnic issues within the country began on January 10.
MPs R. Sambanthan and M. A. Sumanthiran represented the TNA at the talks while Minister Nimal Siripala DeSilva and MP Sajin Vaas Gunawardena represented the government.
