Post Master General stripped of all powers

All the powers of the Post Master General (PMG) have been taken over by the Postal Services Ministry Secretary pending a two month investigation against the PMG, Minister Jeevan Kumaratunga told Ada Derana.

Upon the protest of the postal workers a special committee has been setup to investigate the activities of the Post Master General, the Minister further added.
