Missing fisherman’s family to go to Sri Lanka - Report

Rameswaram, April 8 (PTI) - The family of a fisherman will go to Jaffna from here Saturday for the identification of his body, which was washed ashore at Nedunthivu along the coast of Sri Lanka, officials said here.
The body of Victus, one among the four Indian fishermen who had gone missing while at sea, was found washed ashore on Wednesday at Nedunthivu, revenue Department sources said, reports the Press Trust of India (PTI).
The family would leave for Jaffna on Saturday, they said.
Arrangements had also been made for the relatives of other three missing fishermen to go to Sri Lanka to get details from the officials there.
The Coast Guard would escort the fishermen families up to the International Maritime Boundary line and hand them over to the Sri Lankan Navalmen, they said.
