Four killed, 32 injured in Thirukkovil accident

Four persons were killed after a tipper truck skidded off the road and toppled in the Kanchanakuda area in Thirukkovil. The truck is reported to have been carrying 37 passengers, residents of Hingurana, at the time of the accident.


The fatal accident had occurred at around 7.30pm last night (April 13) while the group were on a trip.


The deceased are said to be 3 women and 1 child while 32 of the injured, including 15 females, were rushed to the Akkaraipattu Hospital.
