Two persons drown in swimming accidents

The Matara Police reported that a person had drowned while swimming in the ocean in the Polhena area in Matara last evening.
The victim was a twenty year old from the Devinuwara area, Police stated.
Meanwhile, Police are looking for the body of a school child who drowned after going swimming in the Galewela Dewahuwa falls. The Galewela police stated that the residents of the area are assisting the police with the search operation.
