Bus fare hike will be announced on May 4 - LPBOA

The Lanka Private Bus Owners’ Association says it will definitely announce a bus fare revision on May 04 due to not receiving a positive response from the government regarding their demands.


The director board of the association which is to assemble on May 04 is scheduled to take a decision regarding this new revision on bus fares, President of the LPBOA Gemunu Wijeratne asserted.


He emphasized that five demands have been presented to the government, however so far no positive feedback has been received.
