TNA meets Blake

Members of the Tamil National Alliance yesterday (02) met with Robert O. Blake, US Assistant Secretary of State for South and Central Asia who arrived in the island last night.
M.S Sumanthiran leader of the TNA said that the meeting lasted for about one and a half hours during which the two parties discussed issues such as the ongoing discussions between the Sri Lankan Government and the TNA, the present political situation in the country and solutions for the problems faced by the Tamil people.
TNA parliamentarian leader Sambandan was also present along with M.S Sumanthiran at the discussions held at the American Embassy yesterday.
