Corruption in Panadura over Grade One admissions

May 4, 2011   04:55 pm

UNP Provincial Council Member, Vijith Priyantha alleged that there has been corruption surrounding the Grade one admissions for the year 2011 in the Panadura zone as many parents have made complaints of their children not being accepted into schools despite having gained the necessary marks at the interviews.

He asked that the Chief Minister and the Provincial Education Minister make sure that these children are given fair treatment and are admitted into appropriate schools.
