LECO General Manager suspended

The Lanka Electricity Company General Manager Susantha Perera has been suspended after a unanimous decision by the Electricity Board Executive Committee, the Power and Energy Ministry said today.
This decision was taken after the five-member committee appointed to investigate the malpractices of LECO found that a Rs. 600 million fraud had taken place during the previous management.
