Dettol invites people to join the mission for health – towards a germ free & healthy Sri Lanka

Dettol, a globally leading brand of Reckitt Benckiser in the health and hygiene category, recently celebrated 50 years of trusted protection in Sri Lanka. Over the years, it has won the confidence of all Sri Lankan households through its island-wide presence and has continuously endeavored to elevate the health and hygiene practices through numerous projects rolled out in partnership with the Ministry of Health.


Because Health matters to all, Dettol has been reaching out to new mothers and school children to build awareness of health and hygiene in their daily routine. As part of this Mission, Dettol will continue to build scaled awareness around the Mission cause and invites participation from all Sri Lankan people to build a healthy nation by taking a ‘Health Pledge’ through any of the following ways - Sign a ‘Pledge Book’ being taken from town to town, or send an SMS, or log onto either the Facebook page or Dettol Website, said Shameena Pallie, Product Group Manager, Dettol.


Through this campaign, Dettol emphasizes that a Healthy and Germ Free Nation comprises of a Healthy Family and a Healthy Home. Accordingly, Dettol will step up its efforts to reach out to the people of Sri Lanka through new mother sampling programs, school and public awareness programs and special trial consumer offers to build the collective habit of health and hygiene in our everyday lives.
