Mervyn’s backup in accident, four injured

The security backup vehicle of Public Relations & Public Affairs Minister Mervyn Silva met with an accident in Chilaw injuring four. The vehicle was returning from Anuradhapura with the convoy of the Minister when it veered off the road and crashed into a tree in Chilaw.

The driver of the vehicle, a security official and two other bystanders sustained injuries in the accident and were rushed to hospital.
