Special unit to look into challenges faced by exporters

A special unit is being set up by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Export Development Board in order to handle various problems faced by Entrepreneurs and Exporters, Minister Rishad Bathiudeen stated.

 

The Unit will work closely with other relevant Ministries and authorities including the Customs Department, the Board of Investments and various Exporters associations.

 

The unit will commence its operations in June giving special attention to industries with a scope for exportation and medium-scale enterprises.
