Leadership training for Uni students begins today

The leadership and positive thinking training to be provided to university students will commence today (May 23). The official launch of the program will be held at Temple Tress under the auspices of President Mahinda Rajapakse.
Around 3,000 university student are scheduled to take part in today’s ceremony which starts at 10am.
Approximately 90% of the students had arrived in training centers by evening yesterday, Minister of Higher Education SB Dissanayake said.
28 training camps have been set up in several areas including Colombo, Anuradhapura, Galle, Polonnaruwa and Minneriya in order to train the 10,000 students of which 5,931 are female.
The program which commences today will continue for 21 whole days.
