CEB Chairman’s appeal to all employees

Consider all facts pertaining to the current situation that has arisen at the CEB and work with the best interest of the establishment and country in mind, Vidya Amarapala the Chairman of the Ceylon Electricity Board urged his staff.


In a letter written to all CEB employees the Chairman appealed “do not be misled by false rumors and allegations and understand the reality”.


“It is the duty of all CEB Engineers and other staff members to work towards the betterment of the CEB and not for individual goals and personal gain.


I most sincerely urge you all to dispel bribery and corruption from this organization and work towards the upliftment of the organization and its employees.” 


Vidya Amarapala in his letter also thanked CEB employees for “contributions towards the current progress of the organization” and requested their continued commitment and dedication for elevating CEB to a financially stable, respectable state owned institution,


“For all of us to be proud stake holders.” the letter released to media today (23) read.
