The University students that were absent at the mandatory leadership training programme which began yesterday (May 24) may still be able to join the programme if they present a valid excuse, the Ministry of Higher Education stated.

Speaking to Ada Derana, Ministry Secretary Dr. Sunil Jayantha Navarathna stated that students who missed the training programme may write to the Ministry explaining their absence after which the Ministry will decide whether to allow the student to join the programme.
