VIDEO: Will even close Universities to eradicate ragging - SB

I will eradicate ragging even if it means closing down Universities, Higher Education Minister S.B. Dissanayaka said today. He added that during the last year 80% of ragging was curbed due to the strict measures taken.

Dissanayaka speaking in Parliament also claimed that a mechanism would be put in place to look into increasing the salaries of the University lecturers.
