VIDEO: Police fire teargas at protest

Police have used teargas to disperse protesters in Katunayake who had been protesting against the proposed pension scheme for the private sector workers. A tense situation has erupted between the policemen and the activists, while the latter is reportedly hurling stones at police officers.
The protest had been staged by employees of two factories in the Katunayake FTZ and policemen had been placed in the area to control the protesters.
