Cyclist killed after collision with oil tanker

A cyclist was killed after colliding with an oil tanker in the Kaithady area in Chavakachcheri near the Kaithady Pulliyar Kovil. The cyclist was rushed to the Jaffna Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police stated.

 

The bowser driver was taken into protective custody by the police who will keep him in remand until June 14 before he is presented before the Magistrates Court.
